EL PASO, Texas – It’s time for the Battle of I-10 and the Miners are facing some stiff challenges this week.
Fortunately for Jay Hall, Sal bring’s us a piece on how he will have a group of four tight ends who should help as their prominence on Mike Price’s offense makes a comeback. Gus profiles El Pasoan Katie Dorman and her leadership role on the soccer team.
In our columns, Sal talks about what the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 means to him while Josh tells us why Miner fans need not jump off the football bandwagon.
Finally, we’d like to remind you about MI’s Pick Axe Party at Smitty’s Pit Bar-B-Que Thursday night from 6-8 pm. There will be $1.75 beer, tacos and ribs while the MI staff will have pick axe car flags as well as the brand new pick axe tee, just in time for this week’s game. We hope to see you all there!
Thanks for reading! Let’s go Miners!
