At this point I would agree with you, but I would like to see how the soph's emerge and if the senoirs can carry the team and give Kayla the chance to shine when called upon.

Great write-up Josh. So stoked about the season. Can't wait for it to start. No doubt, our bigs are our strength, but our guards are pretty damn good too. We've got a senior PG in Streeter, a back sophomore transfer with loads of ability in Moore (although he's not eligible unitl Dec), and imo, it'll be Wash and Twymond running the two and the three. Throw in Cooper and Watts, and this team has all the tools to be great. What's even better, is that these guys (except Sreeter) will all be back in 13-14. I've been saying it for over a year now, and I'll put it in writing (typing) 13-14 team will be top 20. I can't wait.

Good write up Chad...I think they were just as good as we thought they were. Yes, their ooc schedule should've been beefed up a bit, and like you said the conference schedule turned out to be pretty soft too. But, the conference schedule is not in their hands, and this team was literally only a couple baskets away from going 32-0. When it was all said and done, they won 5 top 100 RPI games, and 4 more inside the top 150. In the NCAA tourney, they got shafted, having to take on a top 10 team in the opening round. Even with that, they stood tall, raced out to a quick lead, and even though they lost, they were extremely competitive against a very good Penn St. squad. To me, that performance in the NCAA tourney says everything I need to know.
