I'm not being sarcastic or hinting that they suck, I'm just saying if you wanna squeeze out the most talent out of a player then you have to redshirt him. Gary Nord redshirted every single freshman in one of his recruiting classes and ended up giving UTEP two good seasons worth of players when Price took over as the head coach. The learning curve and physical demand of Division one football is too great on a kid that just graduated high school, so they need to sit their butts down on a redshirt year, get those grades up, watch film, and workout in the weight room.
